Open Call! New Coop Member Contest

OPEN CALL!!!

Do you or someone you know create wonderful artwork or products?

Are you looking for a great place to sell them?

Well, we are looking for you!  Urban Alchemist is conducting a search for new coop member to join the family.

The search starts now and ends August 15th so get your submissions in now!  

Those Chosen will begin Sept 1st!

We will be considering everyone from crafters to Painters, from sculptors to clothing designers and more!  Winners will receive a coop spot and $50 off of their first month.  Depending on the quality of work we see, we will be choosing between one and three new coop members.

If you are looking to promote a line or sell one of a kind items or artwork, Here is your way to have a brick-and-mortar location to send customers to where your work will always be available, Plus you will get the opportunity to promote your work through general marketing,  storewide sales and special events like trunk sales, fashion shows, or art shows.

Concept:
Conceived in 2008 as part store, part gallery and part artisan salon, Urban Alchemist offers an eclectic mix of work by independent designers.  Our wonderful Collective is located at 343 5th. Street in

Coop Membership:
Coop Membership is limited and therefore spaces are not always available, however, with a recent opening at the coop we are putting on the search for the next great addition to our unique shop.  Coop members take home a large percentage of their profits, pay a monthly rental fee, and work once a week at the store.  We try to select coop members who we think will be most successful.  This means we choose designers whose work we think will be popular among our customers and melds well with our current offerings.  deadline: august 15, 2011

To submit your work for consideration (or ask a question), please email uasubmissions@gmail.com with *COOP COMPETITION* in the subject line.  Please tell us a little about your work / what makes it unique and why you are interested in joining our coop.  be sure to include a link to images of your work or at least 5 images embedded in the message.
